# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The color alone makes it a showstopper at any gathering and photographs beautifully
  • Its naturally caffeine free so everyone can enjoy it anytime without the jitters
  • The tart sweetness is incredibly thirst quenching on hot days when plain water feels boring
02 -
  • The longer you steep the flowers, the more bitter and medicinal the tea becomes, so stick to the ten minute window
  • Sugar dissolves much easier in warm liquid, so do not wait until the tea is cold to sweeten it
  • This drink continues to steep even in the refrigerator, so strain out the flowers completely before chilling
03 -
  • Look for dried hibiscus in Latin markets or the international aisle where it is often much cheaper than specialty stores
  • If the tea tastes too tart, add sugar in small increments rather than all at once to find your perfect balance
